Quick Roasted Asparagus – Easy family favorite
Quick Roasted Asparagus – Easy family favorite
For a quick and easy side to any meal, I add roasted asparagus. Surprisingly, it is a favorite of everyone in my house. That’s a lot considering how picky an eater my daughter has become. Even though she has had the opportunity to try many different things her palate is very limited. Most meals she will have what I am cooking, but I love when she gets excited about something like asparagus. These quick roasted asparagus are delicious, easy to make, with a simple clean up an all around easy family favorite.
Prep Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins
400 degrees /15 minutes
1 bunch of Asparagus
1 TBS Olive oil
1/2 tsp Sea Salt or to taste (I prefer Celtic Sea Salt)
1/4 tsp black pepper (or to taste)
1 tsp garlic powder
Optional – grated Parmesan cheese
First, wash the asparagus and trim the ends. Arrange the asparagus on a cookie sheet in an even layer (line with foil for easy clean up). Then drizzle with olive oil and toss with your hands. Next, sprinkle the salt, pepper, and garlic evenly across the asparagus. Place in the oven for 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Time may vary based on your oven, so check after 10 minutes. You want the asparagus crisp yet tender. Serve and find out why this Quick Roasted Asparagus is an easy family favorite!
This is great as a side dish. Optional, sprinkle Parmesan over the top before you cook or when you serve.
